Add a Card

 You can add up to 10 debit/ATM or prepaid cards to the service.

To add a card to Text Services, go to Manage my Text Services.

Enter the cell phone number of the phone that you used to register for Mobile Money Text Services. We will then proceed with the same process that you went through when you first registered for the service.

We will send you a text message, which is used to check that your cell phone and your wireless carrier are compatible with the service. The text message will contain a Handset Verification Code, which is a unique code that allows us to verify that the phone is in your possession and that you have initiated the service.

This message should arrive in the Message Inbox or Web Services Inbox on your cell phone within 60 seconds of your request. Standard SMS fees may apply from your wireless carrier.

If you are sure that your Handset Verification Code has NOT arrived, then click 'resend'.


The Handset Verification Code allows us to verify that the phone is in your possession and that you have initiated this service. This process blocks another user from registering for the service with your cell phone number.


A list of your current alert preferences will be outlined.

Click “Add new card” to add additional cards to your service.


Select the financial institution that corresponds with the card details you would like to add to your service.


A list of available banking services specific to the financial institution you selected will be outlined.

Click “Continue” to move ahead with adding your card details.


You will be asked to enter your card details now. Depending on the services offered by your financial institution, you will be also asked to select the alerts you wish to receive and set your alert preferences. This includes indicating the day/time you wish to receive text message alerts and setting high and low balance threshold alerts.

We use your Debit/ATM or Prepaid card in order to access your account details for banking services, such as balance inquiries. This is very similar to using your card in a cash machine or ATM machine.

When you have entered your card details and set your alert preferences, you will be asked to confirm your card details.

Once you confirm your details are correct, click “Activate Service” to continue.


Once we have confirmed your card details, all of the accounts you have registered for Text Services will be displayed.  If you do not wish to add additional cards, select "Activate" to activate the card just added.  (If you wish to add additional cards, select "Add new card" at this time.) 

We will then deposit and remove two small amounts (less than $1 each) to your account. The amounts deposited and removed will be your key to activate your text message service. Contact your bank via phone or online to find these two amounts.

Additional Information

If you only see a single deposit and withdrawal on your internet banking, this is likely caused by your financial institutionI having combined the two deposit amounts. You will be able to retrieve the two individual amounts by contacting your financial institution.

Enter the two deposit amounts in the corresponding fields on the website. These amounts should be entered as two whole digits with no special characters (e.g. 35 not .35). The two amounts can be entered in any order. 

Then click "Activate now". Your Text Services will now be live.

Additional Information

Once you have entered your Double Deposit incorrectly on 5 consecutive occasions or if you are unable to retrieve your Double Deposit from your financial institution, you will need to request a new Double Deposit by starting the registration process at the beginning.
